Abstract Study purpose: Improving cognitive functions in older adults patients with stroke. Methodology: Quasi-experimental research was conducted in X University Hospitals. The research group consisted of 60 deliberately selected older adults patients. The X version of the modified Mini-mental state test, digital span, and logical memory were used to assess cognitive functions. By analyzing the relationship of cognitive functions with demographic as well as clinical variables, the contributing factors were established. Major results: There was a statistically significant difference in the total score of cognitive abilities domains [spatial orientation, similarities, and three stage commands] among the studied older adults patients with stroke after rehabilitation intervention. Clinical implications: Training program implementation has a direct impact on the cognitive performance of older adults patients with stroke.
