Abstract: |
The aim of the research was to develop a training program using competitive speed training using a competitor in training in the development of the maximum speed phase variables (step length, flight time, timing) and their relation to race time development Research Methodology : The researcher used the experimental method, and the research sample was selected in a deliberate manner from the research community, who have the best time in the 100 meter sprint race and the number of (6) players from the Zagazig University Athletics team for the 2017/2018 academic year Some devices and tools have been used and the experimental group has been subject to the proposed training program for 8 weeks with four training modules per week .
Statistical processors : ( Mean, standard deviation, median, torsion factor, correlation coefficient, T test, Wilson test, percentage improvement .)
The most important results are:Competitive speed training led to the development of the physical variables of the race (ability, speed of departure, maximum speed and explosive force of the feet) and the changes of the maximum speed stage (step length - flight time - the time of focus) of the object in question.
The most important recommendations are:The need to pay attention to technicians special exercises create a spirit of competition between players, which improve the step of the enemy and the physical variables associated with the race and used in training programs according to the capabilities of the runners.The need to diversify in the forms of training such as (acceleration training (competitor), chasing, and performance techniques, and the resistance by using a competitor and the introduction of advanced devices and tools in the training process
