Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the level of satisfaction of each of the parents of students and the teacher of the school with the educational process inside the school, as well as to identify the reasons for the low educational level of school students from the viewpoint of teachers and parents, as well as their proposals to improve the educational level of students. This research was conducted in the primary school in the village of Kafr Badran, Minya Al-Qamh Center - Sharkia Governorate, on a sample of 40 teachers representing almost all of the school's teaching staff. And on the number of 100 pupils 'parents who were chosen randomly, and they represent approximately 15.7% of all pupils' parents in the school, and the questionnaire method was used to collect questionnaires with the personal interview, and data was collected during the period from February to May 2018, and was used in analyzing data, repetitions and ratios Percentage and weighted average. The study reached many results, the most important of which are: Nearly half of the school’s teachers (47.5%) are dissatisfied with the school’s results in recent years and the regularity and progress of the educational process. As for the parents, over two-thirds of the respondents (71.3%) are not satisfied with that. The most important reasons for the low level of education from the point of view of teachers are the failure of parents in providing the requirements of the educational process for their children, while the most important of these reasons from the viewpoint of parents are: teachers are busy with private lessons outside the school. The most important proposals of the school teachers to advance the educational process are: the parents ’role should also play in the follow-up of their children and the educational process inside the school, while the most important suggestions of parents are to prevent private lessons with the opening of remedial classes inside the school, and prevent fraud in exams. The study recommends: finding a suitable alternative to private lessons outside the school, the necessity of a good link between the school administration and the parents council and the parents of the students, and the need to improve the teacher’s income with a focus on his regularity in explaining in the classroom, as well as changing the student evaluation system for the better.
