Abstract: |
This research aimed to use the concurrent training method (resistances + endurance) in the wrestler by designing a proposed training program and knowing the effect of these exercises on the physical training condition represented in agility, grip strength, back and legs strength, flexibility and strength characterized by speed and skill level of two-point skill, four-point skill and five-point skill .
The researcher used the experimental method, and the research sample included 35 wrestlers who were randomly divided into two equal and equal groups, an experimental group and a control group.
The researcher used some devices and tools in addition to a form for assessing the level of skill performance. The experimental group was subjected to the proposed training program without the control group, for a period of (10) weeks, with three training units per week.
The researchers used the appropriate statistical treatments such as: arithmetic mean, median, standard deviation, skew coefficient, correlation coefficient, t-test to indicate differences, analysis of variance, improvement rates.
One of the most important results: that the concurrent training (resistances + endurance) led to a noticeable improvement in the training condition of the wrestler, such as the strength of the fist, the strength of the back and the legs, the strength characteristic of speed and general endurance, as well as the level of skill performance of the twist, the throw from above the middle, the back throw in the confrontation.
The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to the use of concurrent training method (resistances + endurance) for wrestlers, and that training to develop the physical and skill training status is an essential part of the sports preparation programs for young people and adults, and the need to direct the attention of trainers to creating exercises that suit the physical performance and skills of wrestlers.
