The spread of the phenomenon of early divorce is a societal scourge that threatens the society and its families, especially with the difficulties and challenges that women suffer as a result of that. Therefore, enabling her to establish projects has become a safe umbrella to avoid these difficulties and then complete her future life effectively and successfully. Based on this, the present study aimed to study the effectiveness of a guidance program to enable the early divorced women to set up small projects and its relationship with their competitiveness. Where the data were completed through the application of the study tools (the general data form, the questionnaire of enabling the establishment of small projects, and the competitiveness questionnaire) on a random objective sample of (180) early divorced women in Sharkia governorate. The research followed the descriptive, analytical and experimental approach. The data have been analyzed and statistically treated using the (Spss) program.The study reached a set of results, the most important of which were: The vast majority of the early divorced women have a low and medium level of empowerment to set up small projects, at a rate of 66.1%, and they have low and medium competitiveness at a rate of 57.2%. The most obstacles they face in establishing a small project is the lack of financial resource, followed by the lack of the parental acceptance for that, and then the weak skills that enable them to establish a small project. It was also found that there is a positive correlation between the level of empowerment of divorced women to establish small projects with its axes and the competitiveness (with its axes), and the monthly income variable was the most influential variable in explaining the difference in competitiveness. It was also found that there are statistically significant differences between the level of empowerment the divorced women to set up small projects with its axes (administrative - social - marketing - total) before and after the application of the program in favor of the post application. The study recommended the National Council for Women to help publishing the sessions of the prepared guidance program on its official site, and to establish an effective methodology and strategy that enables the divorced woman to enhance the competitiveness of her project by providing the support and development she needs. The interest of the local councils and the civil associations in establishing a multi fields national project in Sharkia Governorate, especially in its various villages, that includes the divorced women and breadwinners, which allows them to practice the self-employment and gain experience that enables them to establish a private project that achieves high competitiveness. More support from the small projects’ development agency for the divorced women and removing obstacles for them, especially in the first period of the project, so that they can continue.
