Abstract:
Specific Technical Education in Light of Egypt's Vision in 2030 for Sustainable Development (A Case Study) Dr. Hanim Khalid Mohammed Mohammed Seleem Assistant Professor of Education Foundations, Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt Email: dr.hanimkhalid@yahoo.com The investigation in technical secondary education , in general and qualitative education in particular, is one of the best types of investment. This is because it represents the basic base upon which all national projects and presidential and community initiatives that achieve Egypt's vision in 2030 are built. Hence The study aimed at revealing the role of the Specific Technical Education in achieving Egypt`s vision in 2030. The study adapted the descriptive method and the case study as one of its methods. The study dealt with the emergence and development of Specific technical education, its philosophy, objectives, formulas, Egypt`s vision in 2030, its goals and axes, and the quantitative reality of Specific Technical Education in Egypt in general and in Sharkia Governorate in particular. The study reached several results, including: the lack of Specific Technical Education contribution in its current situation in achieving Egypt’s vision in 2030, due to the Scarcity of Specific technical schools and the low level of their graduates, and the lack of appropriate distribution among governorates, between rural and urban areas, and between males and females, where female students are reluctant about joining it. In light of the results, the study presented several recommendations for developing Specific Technical Education to achieve Egypt’s vision in 2030. Including the good Choice of students, awareness of its importance, provision of material and human capabilities, development of new programs and specializations, and development of curricula and syllabi. The study suggested preparing a proposed map for Specific Technical Education schools in Egypt and Sharkia Governorate.
