The study aimed to identify the level of emotional balance and its relationship to cognitive speed and innovative thinking among a sample of secondary students. The study sample consisted of (204) male and female students, (108) males and (966) females, who were chosen by random method. To achieve the objectives of the study, a scale of emotional balance and cognitive speed was built, and the Torrance innovative thinking test was used. The results of the study showed that there is a relationship between emotional balance and cognitive speed, and there is no relationship between emotional balance and innovative thinking.
