Abstract: |
The current study aimed to identify the path of the relationship between solving social problems, self-efficacy and the tendency to take risks, as well as identifying the differences between students in those variables. The study sample consisted of (289) male and female students who were chosen by the multistage random stratified method, and the researcher prepared a number of scales represented in: the scale of solving social problems, the scale of self-efficacy, and the scale of attitude towards risk, and those scales were applied to an exploratory sample of (194) male and female students , in order to determine the psychometric properties of the study tools, using factor analysis, internal consistency by Alpha Cronbach's method, and analysis of variance. To verify the validity of the hypotheses, the researcher used a number of statistical methods, including: simple regression, “t” test, “Ka2” test, correlation coefficients “Phi - Spearman - concordance”, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Mann-Whitney test.
The results of the study indicated that there is a significant correlation between solving social problems, self-efficacy, the tendency to take risks, the possibility of building a model for these variables together, and the absence of differences between male and female students.
