The study aims to investigate the effect of cooperative learning and competitive learning on the creative thinking of seventh graders. By applying the basic mathematical skills test to two groups of the study sample before and after teaching, and one of the most prominent findings of the study is the absence of statistically significant differences between the cooperative learning and competitive learning strategies in creative thinking. However, the cooperative learning group achieved a high significance in the post test of creative thinking, and proved its efficiency in developing creativity skills.
