Abstract:
Gifted children are characterized by the fact that they learn faster than others and in a different way. These gifted children are often found in ordinary classrooms where the teaching style does not match their rapid style of learning, and from here the problem of low achievement may stem because they are bored with the slow teaching process, and it may also stem from The problem is that academic achievement is based on the school curriculum designed according to the level of the majority of students, who are ordinary ones. Therefore, many gifted students do not find in it a challenge to their abilities and talents, and this affects their motivation and lowers their performance level, thus lowering their academic achievement. It should be noted that there are many students who are highly capable but have learning difficulties. The selection and identification of gifted students with learning difficulties has become an important focus for educators and researchers in the field of gifted education. It required discovering the distinctive characteristics of the gifted student with learning difficulties, and addressing some issues of educating these students, with a focus on the role of parents, especially in supporting their gifted children with learning difficulties. In order to deal effectively with regard to the treatment of people with learning difficulties, the focus should be on prevention, early intervention for developmental learning difficulties, and moreover, for gifted people with learning difficulties, it should be necessary to provide compensatory strategies to help them overcome their difficulties.
