Abstract:
The systematic and scientific evaluation can be applied in various educational situations, whether it is evaluating individuals or evaluating projects and programmes, for example, we can know the effectiveness of certain educational activities according to specific criteria, and know whether the effect of a particular activity or program is better than the effect of another activity or programme. And whether the use or implementation of a specific program is equivalent to the cost of its preparation, and evaluation has several roles in educational fields. Evaluation has a role in preparing teachers and their activities, in the process of building curricula, and in field experiments related to improving teaching and learning processes, and in selecting the best educational strategies and techniques. In judging the continuation, modification or cancellation of a particular educational program, evaluation has a very important role in following up on students’ academic progress, determining their achievement level, and guiding them in educational and vocational guidance.
