Analysis of the Goodenough draw -A -Man test content in the detection of creative children

Abstract:
The present research aims to analyze the content of the drawings in the activities of the Goodenough Intelligence scale to detect a creative children and measure creative thinking skills from those drawings based on the content and style of expression of the idea, content analysis methodology used. A tool was developed that included four aspects (cognitive, emotional, social and creative). The tool was presented to specialists in the field of psychological standards and technical education, who have experience in applying and using standards based on the analysis of drawings, has been modified on some items in the tool based on the observations of the reviewers. The sample is 136 students in seventh grade. The results showed that the cognitive dimension had the highest frequency of responses (38%) followed by the creative dimension (32%), social (18%) followed by emotional (12%), There are statistically significant differences between males and females in aspects analyzed favor females, there are a relationship between measured aspects and their degree of creative thinking skills, and there are statistically significant relations between the measured aspects of each other. The researcher recommends the use of the Goodenough scale for intelligence and the interpretation of its results in the most knowledge domains.
