Abstract:
The current research investigates the impact of the relationship between moral values and the quality of life of students in two faculties; general education and physical education, as well as studying the comparison and the differences between students in both faculties of general education and physical education in both moral values and quality of life with regard to the academic level; To achieve the objectives of the research, a pilot sample of (153) was selected to verify the psychometric characteristics of the research instruments. The final sample was (942) students (464) of the Faculty of Physical Education, and (478) of the Faculty of Education at the first, fourth and sample levels. The current research, two metrics were built: the scale of moral values, and the quality of life scale. The results of the research showed a positive correlation statistically significant between the dimensions of the scale of moral values scale and the total score and the dimensions of the quality of life scale and the total score of students of the Faculty of Education, as well as students of the Faculty of Physical Education. The absence of statistically significant differences between the students of the Faculty of Education in the moral values and quality of life in the first and fourth levels, as well as the absence of the same previous differences between the students of the Faculty of Physical Education in the variables of moral values and quality of life in the light of the variable type of student, and academic level. The research recommends that exercise be found to play a significant role in the development of moral values of students as well as raise their sense of quality of life and a sense of intellectual and physical balance.
