The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of the use of positive psychology mechanisms in the development of self-concept for students with learning disabilities, the number of sample 24 students with learning disabilities were divided into two experimental groups 12 experimental students The program, based on the mechanisms of positive psychology, was implemented and the control group of 12 students did not apply any program. Using the tools: The test of intelligence matrices consecutive non-colored, the diagnostic assessment of the disabilities of learning mathematics and reading, the measure of self-concept of people with learning disabilities and the program of therapy based on some mechanisms of positive psychology in raising the level of self-concept (Prepared by researchers). The results that there were statistically significant differences in self-concept between control and experimental in favor of the experimental groups, there were statistically significant differences self-concept between pre and post-test of the experimental; groups in favor of the post-test. And there no were significant differences between the post-test and follow up test of the experimental groups. The study recommended attention to the strategies and mechanisms of positive psychology to suit the characteristics, needs, interest and attitudes of students with learning disabilities.
