The current research objective is to study the differences in research variables (Machiavellian beliefs- life satisfaction - social comparison orientation) according to the sex variable (male/female), and According to the variable of the academic specialization (scientific faculties /theoretical faculties), and As well as exploring the correlation between Machiavellian beliefs and both (satisfaction with life - social comparison orientation), and The research also attempted to find the potential impact of both (life satisfaction - social comparison orientation) on Machiavellian beliefs, and the potential impact of both (life satisfaction - Machiavellian beliefs) on social comparison orientation, The survey consisted of (199) students from Zagazig University, selected in a random manner, with the aim of verifying the reliability and validity of the scales used in the research (machiavellian belief scale - life satisfaction scale - social comparison orientation scale), while the final research sample (742) students from Zagazig University, selected randomly, in order to verify the research hypotheses. The statistical methods used were the test (t) of two independent samples, the Pearson correlation coefficient, and the structural equation model. the most important results were that there were no statistically significant differences in all research variables according to both the sex variables and the academic specialization, as revealed by the results. The existence of a negative and statistically positive correlation between Machiavellian beliefs and both life satisfaction, the orientation of social comparison respectively, as well as the statistically negative effect of the independent underlying variable (social comparison orientation) on the underlying variable of the dependent (Machiavellian beliefs), a statistically negative effect of the independent underlying variable (Machiavellian beliefs) on the underlying variable of the dependent (social comparison orientation), and a statistically negative effect of the independent underlying variable (life satisfaction) on the underlying variable of the dependent (social comparison orientation).
