Abstract:
Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a clinical syndrome caused by infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Patients with severe illness have an overactive immune system, which can damage organs other than the lungs. Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of clinical manifestations and comorbidities in SARS-CoV-2 infected patients.
