Abstract:
Special education (SE) for children with disabilities is grounded in the United Nations (UN) convention on the right of the child and the Salamanca framework for special education needs (SEN). Convention Article 26 of the UN has emphasized that children with disabilities are entitled to their basic human rights and have equal opportunity to be educated and live like other children. The Salamanca has affirmed the UN declaration that everyone has the right to education .
