The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of the training program based on the components of emotional intelligence in developing some language skills (listening - speaking) among kindergarten children who are at risk of learning difficulties, and this study was conducted on a sample of kindergarten children in Zagazig, specifically children from Nasiriyah Kindergarten. Where the current study sample was chosen from among children whose ages ranged between (5-6) years, and the sample size was 16 children. To measure the variables, the following were designed: - Emotional intelligence measure. - Scale of language skills. - A training program based on emotional intelligence to develop some language skills among kindergarten children. The results of the study concluded: - The existence of significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of the experimental group children in the pre and post measurements on the emotional intelligence scale and its five dimensions These differences tend to favor the scores of the post measurement. - There were significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the scores of the children of the experimental group in the pre and post measurements on the scale of language skills, and these differences tend to favor the scores of the post measurement. - There are no statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group’s ranks in the two dimensional and tracer measurements on the emotional intelligence scale (awareness of emotions - management of emotions - regulation of emotions - awareness of others' emotions - dealing with personal relationships). - There are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the experimental group’s ranks in the two dimensional and tracer measurements on the language skills scale. - The presence of a correlation between emotional intelligence and language skills of children at risk of learning difficulties.
