Abstract: |
The investment of innovative scientific and creative energies is a way to advance the development of societies, and constructive thinking allows to deal effectively in different situations and make the right decisions and solve problems. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the effectiveness of educational software based on the skills of visual and cognitive thinking on the teaching of the group of rhythmic exercises and the development of some high-level thinking skills for students of the third year of the Faculty of Physical Education Girls Zagazig University.
The experimental steps were as pre-post-experimental design for a single group. The research society in the third-year students represented the second semester of the academic year (2016/2017) in the Faculty of Physical Education for Girls Zagazig University. The sample was randomly selected. The main sample was 45 students and the pre-study sample was 26 students. In addition, the researchers prepared a form for the performance of a total of 13 rhythmic exercises and the test of high thinking skills. The rank consists of (51) question. The experimental processing of the study was carried out on the basis of educational software based on the visual and cognitive thinking skills of the researchers, consisting of (5) main axes, (21) sub-axis. The program aimed at (61) skills contains (2324) educational pages, (1371) images and (450) video. The basic study was applied for 10 weeks connected to one lecture weekly.
The researchers used the covariance analysis to find the differences between the repeated measurements within the research group (ANOVA). The Wilcoxon test was used to find the source of difference and effect.
The results of the study showed that there were significant differences between the three measurements and a strong influence between the measurements (tribal - sequential), Post-post-tribal, post-tribal) (0.87: 0.88), while the effect on the level of high-level thinking skills (0.87) was significant.
The results of the study confirm that the educational software that prepared according to the skills of visual and cognitive thinking has improved the level of the research sample in the performance of the group of rhythmic exercises and high-level thinking skills.
The study reached the conclusion that the integration of visual thinking in education with the help of the educational program led to positive results in the level of skills High-level thinking.
Which reflected positively on the performance of the group of rhythmic exercises, and enabled students to acquire information faster and more clearly. Also, it improve their performance of the group of rhythmic exercises.
The use of multimedia elements of the color images, profession performance, educational films, support, guidance, an organization of educational content, educational program, and the richness of information and control of the learner in the educational content led to positive results in the level of high-level thinking skills.
Which reflected positively on the performance of the rhythmic exercises. And affecting the educational program positively in the ability of students to convert the visual language in Educational images, observations and verbal and written information to the dynamic performance of the skills. Finally, to reach a good level of performance of the total rhythmic exercises.
