The research mainly aims to measure the financial feasibility of private aquaculture projects in newly reclaimed land in the plain Mud under the current situation and the ability of this activity to address the risks it may face (sensitivity analysis). And study the problems facing the national fish farms in the area of The Plain Mud and proposals to solve them. The research reached several results, the most important of which are: (1) the cost of drilling, processing and lining the basins and constructing bridges and interior grooves occupies the first place for the items of the structure of investment and total costs, which amounted to about 51.8% of the total investment costs and 21.98% of the total costs per acre, respectively. (2) The cost of fry tops the first place of the items of the structure of operating costs by about 17 thousand pounds representing about 32.44%, of the total investment costs and18.68% of the total costs of fish farming in the study area respectively. (3) The financial feasibility of investing in the field of national fish farming according to the current situation in the study area indicated that the internal rate of return (IRR) was about 73%, more than the opportunity cost of investing capital in the community of about 20%. (4) The financial feasibility of investing in the field of national fish farming according to the sensitivity analysis in its three cases (increased operating costs 10%, decrease of revenues 10%, occurrence of both changes) in the study area, indicated that the rate of internal return (IRR) was about 55%, 24%, 28% respectively, i.e. more than the cost The opportunity to invest capital in the community of about 20%. (5) There are many problems facing fish farming activity in the plain mud. The research concluded with several recommendations to expand fish farming projects in the region, overcome the problems facing producers and thus encourage young graduates, small and large investors to invest in this activity.
