The study aimed to: Identify the degree of social protection for rural people before and after the Implementation of the Takaful and Karama programs, test the significance of differences before and after benefiting from the Takaful program according to the degree of social protection for rural people and its dimensions separately, and determining the factors that affect the degree of social protection of rural people and its dimensions separately and the degree of contribution of each of the significant affecting factors. The study was conducted using the social survey method with simple random sample, the Husseiniya Center was chosen then two villages were selected: Al-Ekhaywa and Al-Zawahriya. The sample size of the beneficiaries of both the Takaful and Karama programs in the two villages was 159 and 32 beneficiaries respectively. The data were collected using an interview questionnaire form from the beginning of March to the middle of April 2019. Data were analyzed and presented using frequencies and percentages, Arithmetic Mean, Alpha Cronbach, Paired-Samples T test, Pearson simple correlation coefficient, And Step Wise Multiple Regression. The study concluded that the majority of respondents had a low level of social protection before benefiting from the Takaful and Karama programs (59.7%, 68.8%) respectively. Also the majority of respondents benefiting from the Takaful and Karama programs had a low social protection degree (40.9%, 59.4%) respectively. It was found that there were no significant differences before and after benefiting from both Takaful and Karama programs according to the degree of social protection. Also it was found that there were two independent variables that together contributed significantly to explain the total variation in the degree of social protection by 42.7%, and the relative contribution of each variable as follows: the total monthly income 40.5%, the number of years of education 2.2%, and the effects of these variables were positive.
