: A proposal to transform Egyptian universities into intelligent universities in light of Karl Albrecht's model of organizational
The aim of the current research is to present a proposed concept that contributes to transforming Egyptian universities into intelligent universities in the light of Karl Albrecht's model of organizational intelligence, by identifying the intellectual foundations of the entrance to organizational intelligence and the intelligent university as mentioned in contemporary administrative thought, and clarifying the general features of Karl Albrecht's model of organizational intelligence, And identifying the reality of Egyptian universities in the light of Karl Albrecht's model, then coming up with a proposed conception that contributes to transforming Egyptian universities into intelligent universities that are compatible with the changes of the modern era, in light of Karl Albrecht's model of organizational intelligence, and the current research used the descriptive approach, and the research reached many results Of which :
-The multiplicity of global models for organizational intelligence, such as: the Matsuda model, the Kron Quest model, and the Karl Albrecht model.
-The requirements that must be met by the university in order to improve the level of organizational intelligence are varied, such as: intelligent leadership, business intelligence, knowledge management, organizational learning, and intellectual capital.
-A intelligent university is characterized by many characteristics such as: focus on informal organization, interest in teamwork, organizational intelligence, systematic thinking, focus on open organization, organizational learning, and interest in leadership.
- Karl Albrecht's model is based on some of the dimensions that contribute to transforming universities into smart universities, which are: strategic vision, shared destiny, desire for change, heart (desire for success), congruence and compatibility, knowledge employment, and performance pressure. The model was also applied in Many Iranian universities have adopted many appropriate practices to improve university intelligence, and some Iranian universities have also been interested in applying Karl Albrecht's model to determine the relationship between organizational intelligence and some variables that contribute to university intelligence, such as: knowledge management, organizational learning, transformational leadership, employee empowerment, Organizational agility.
