Abstract:
The aim of the current research is to improve the psychological empowerment of the teacher's assistants with hearing disabilities through a cognitive-behavioral training program to develop self-support, and to achieve this goal the research was conducted on a sample of (6) assistants with hearing impairment working in Atef Sadat Joint School in Belbeis, by (2) Male, (4) females, and their ages ranged between (28 - 45) years, with a mean age of (33.50) and a standard deviation (7,2), after applying the self-victory scale (the researcher's preparation) and the psychological empowerment scale (the researcher's preparation) Conducting the cognitive behavioral training program and using the statistical methods represented in the Man-Whitney equation for independent groups and Wilcoxon equation for related groups resulted in the most important results of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the teacher assistants with hearing impairment in the experimental group before and after the application of the cognitive-behavioral training program on Self-victory scale in favor of the experimental group after implementing the program, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the teacher assistants with hearing impairment in the experimental group before and after implementing the program. For cognitive-behavioral training on the psychological empowerment scale for the benefit of the experimental group after the application of the program, there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the teacher assistants with hearing disabilities in the experimental group after applying the cognitive-behavioral training program and after tracking it on the psychological empowerment scale, which indicated the survival of the program’s impact And based on the results of the current research, the researcher directed some recommendations to the bodies responsible for the care and employment of teacher assistants with hearing disabilities, which may benefit them in their professional and public lives. The research was concluded with some proposed research that calls for attention to its research, which may benefit many researchers in the fields of mental health and special education.
