The aim of the current research is to improve university compatibility among university students with visual impairment through a selective counseling program to develop an orientation towards life and to achieve this goal, the research was conducted on a sample of (7) university students with visual impairment at the Faculty of Arts at Zagazig University by (4) males and (3) Females whose ages ranged between (19-23) years with an average chronological age (21) and a standard deviation (2.8) and after applying the measure of the use of life orientation (preparing the researcher) and the university compatibility scale (preparing the researcher) and conducting the selective counseling program And by using the statistical methods represented in the Mann Whitney equation for independent groups and Wilcoxon equation for related groups, the results resulted in statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students with visual impairment in the experimental group before and after applying the selective counseling program on the life orientation scale in favor of the experimental group After implementing the program, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students with visual impairment in the experimental group before and after the application of the selective extension program on Measuring university concordance in favor of the experimental group after implementing the program, the absence of statistically significant differences between the average grades of students with visual impairment in the experimental group after applying the selective extension program and after tracking it on the university compatibility scale, which indicates the survival of the program’s impact, and based on what it has produced. The results of the current research, the researcher made some recommendations that may benefit university students with vision impairment and the blind, and the research was concluded with some suggested research that calls for attention to its research, which may benefit many researchers in the fields of mental health and special education
