Abstract:
The current study aims to explore the effectiveness of the proposed training program based on the linguistic intelligence to enhance kindergartners’ listening, and speaking skills, using the storyboard. To achieve this aim , the researcher designed the tools of the study , which are: " the measure of linguistic intelligence, listening and speaking skills’ measure, and training program based on linguistic intelligence ". The subjects of the current study were" 40 " children assigned into two groups, experimental and control groups. The measures were conducted with children in the experimental group, while the children of the control group were exposed to the prepared regular program according to the plan of the kindergarten. After the completion of the program of the experimental group, tools were applied to children in the two groups, and using the appropriate statistical methods, the results concluded the following: 1- There were statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0.02) between the ranks of the grades of the pre-test and the post-test of the language skills ( listening and speaking) among kindergarten children, in favor of the post-test. 2-There were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.02) between the grades ranks of two measurements of the pre-test and post-test of language skills ( listening - speaking ) of the kindergarten children, in favor of the post-test. 3- The results showed statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0.02) between the means of the grades’ ranks of the linguistic intelligence in the post-test, in favor of the experimental group. 4- The results showed statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0.02) between the means of the grades’ ranks of the language skills (listening - speaking ) in the post-test of experimental and control groups, in favor of the experimental group. 5- Findings showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the means of the grades’ ranks of the kindergarten children ( males - females) in the linguistic intelligence , however there were statistically significant differences at the level of ( 0.02) between the means of the grades’ ranks of the kindergarten children ( males - females) in the language skills ( listening - speaking ), in favor of the females. The researcher concluded the study with a number of recommendations and proposed research studies.
