Abstract:
The electrical behaviour of some hydrazones was studied in the temperature range of 290-435 K. The effect of complex formation with Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(IT), Ni(II), and Cu(II) on the electrical conductivity of the hydrazones was investigated. The structure of the hydrazones was characterized using H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy. Conductometric titration and IR spectroscopy were used to illustrate the structure of the hydrazone complexes. Both the structures of the hydrazones and the complexation process play an effective role in the conduction process.
