Abstract:	Photothermal deflection spectroscopy (PDS) is used to determine the thermal diffusivity of the semiconductor InAs of n- and p-type. The value of thermal diffusivity (alpha) is found to change with the dopant concentration. The results are compared to those obtained by PAS technique.
