Abstract: |
The aim of the research is to identify the trend towards the experimental application of the booklet system in the general secondary examinations in a sample of teachers, students and parents and suggestions for their development for the academic year 2016/2017, which is divided into the following objectives: Identify the level of the scale of the trend towards the experimental application of the booklet system in the general secondary examinations. And identify the impact of some demographic variables such as: gender (male / female), academic specialization (scientific / literary), job (manager and agent, teacher and mentor, guardian, student) on that direction, as well as the degree of approval of sample members on the vocabulary of the scale Proposals for the development of high school examinations. The final research sample consisted of two groups (248): 17 managers and agents, 96 teachers and supervisors, 40 parents, 95 students (measuring the trend towards the experimental application of the booklet system in the general secondary examinations, (20 managers and agents, 82 teachers and supervisors, 45 supervisors, 105 students) applied the scale of proposals for the development of high school examinations, using appropriate statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, T test, variance analysis,q2, Search results resulted for:
- The weighted average of the total score of the trend towards the experimental application of the booklet system in the general secondary examinations was (2.88) and reached the average level.
- There are no statistically significant differences in the trend towards the experimental application of the system of the booklet in the general secondary examinations due to the gender (male / female), academic specialization (scientific / literary) among the members of the research sample.
- There are statistically significant differences (at level 0.05) in the degree of trend towards the experimental application of the booklet system in the general secondary examinations due to the job (director and deputy-teacher-supervisor-guardian-student) among the members of the research sample. There are statistically significant differences (at level 0.01) between teacher and teacher and guardian in favor of teacher and mentor. There are also significant differences (at level 0.05) between the teacher and the teacher and the student in favor of the teacher and mentor.
- All the vocabulary of the scale of proposals for the development of high school examinations is a function at the level of (0.01) in favor of the response (to a large extent), except the number 45, which is: (add questions for the examinations of language courses measuring listening and speaking skills) In favor of the response (medium approval), and the number 1: (secondary school system returns to the two-year system of study) and 12 (which applies the full school day to the three school years) Responding (disagree) from the point of view of the sample members.
In the end, the results it is interpreted and discussed and come up with a set of recommendations and suggested research.
