Abstract: |
Sports activities are an essential component of the educational curriculum for the hearing impaired but rather the primary axis in it due to their effective role in developing their preparations and developing their communication skills, they contribute to maintaining the mental health of the hearing impaired through self-realization and treatment of some behaviors such as withdrawal and fear of facing others, The research aims to build an educational program for taekwondo with merging and isolation systems and know its effect on improving some of the physical variables under study, and learn some basic skills of taekwondo, and reduce withdrawal behavior for children with hearing impairment, The researcher used the experimental method for the two experimental groups, The sample included the fifth-grade primary students of hearing impaired boys and girls in Al-Amal School in sharqia Governorate, whose degree of hearing impairment ranges between (40 to 60 decibels), and they are (45) students divided by (15 for the first experimental sample for Merging), And (15 for the sample of the second experimental study for isolation), (15 for exploratory study), in addition to (30 students) from ordinary boys and girls, and they were divided into (15 students for the Merging group), (15 students for exploratory study), The most important results indicated the presence of statistically significant differences between the measurements before and after in the physical variables and basic skills in taekwondo under discussion, and the withdrawal behavior of both experimental groups (Merging- isolation), in favor of the final measurements, where the results indicated a decrease in the withdrawal behavior and the improvement of the social skills of children with hearing impairment, and the first experimental group (fusion group) outperformed the second experimental group (isolation group) in all study variables and a further decrease in withdrawal behavior, The researcher recommended applying the proposed educational program to other groups with special needs, and the need to take advantage of the results of this study and conduct a similar study in other sporting activities using the integration system and know their impact on other psychological variables, also recommended that schools that support the idea of inclusion and holding training courses on How to use the plural approach when using sports activities with special needs, and the importance of the multiplicity and diversity of school sports activities in schools with special needs
