Designing A Training Program Based On Kolb's Experiential Learning Model And Its Effectiveness In Developing Academic Writing Skills And Self-Efficacy For Students Of The Faculty Of Education, Arabic Department. Abstract: This study aimed to develop academic writing skills and self-efficacy for students of the third year, Basic Education Section, Arabic Department, at the Faculty of Education, Zagazig University. those skills needed for them to study the various courses that affect their self-efficacy of various activities and study tasks. The study sample consisted of (50) third-year students, Basic Education Section, Arabic Department, which represented the research group that studied using the training program based on Kolb’s experiential learning model. The research problem was that there was obvious weakness and deficiency among the third-year students, Basic Education Section, Arabic Department, in academic writing skills as well as the low level of self-efficacy that affects their achievement of various activities and study tasks. The research has been based on preparing a list of academic writing skills ,a list of the dimensions of self-efficacy for students of the third-year, Basic Education Section, Arabic Department, also an academic writing skills test and a scale of the dimensions of self-efficacy to measure growth in these skills and dimensions, both before and after, for the research group. The results of the study showed the effectiveness of the training program based on Kolb’s experiential learning model in developing academic writing skills and self-efficacy for the research group.
