Abstract:	beta-Naphthoxyacetyl isothiocyanate 1 was reacted with aniline, anthranilic acid, guanidinium carbonate, o-phenylenediamine and /or glycine to give thiourea 2, quinazoline 6, triazine 8, benzimidazole 10 and thiohydantoin 11, respectively. Also reactions of 1 with phenyl isocyanate, acetyl acetone and ethyl acetoacetate have also been described.
