Abstract:	2,2'-(1,4-Phenylene)-di-4H-benz-3,1-oxazin-4-one (1) was synthesized. The reactions of (1) with primary aromatic amines, hydroxylamine, sod. azide, P2S5, active methylene compounds and cyanoethanoic acid hydrazide were studied.
