Abstract:
Two field experiments were carried out at Hehya district during 2004 and 2005 to study the effect of different intercropping systems on maize with cowpea, soybean and bean plants on their infestation with aphids, leafhoppers and whitefly insects .The results indicated that, intercropping of these plants caused a high reduction in population of the studied pests.
