Abstract:
Topology of Si-28 fragmentation at 14.6 A GeV in emulsion nuclei is given. In all events, the charge of each projectile fragment is measured. We report the measurements on total and some partial reactions cross sections of 28Si interactions. The data for Z greater than or equal to 6 can be qualitatively described by a statistical percolation model. The results are discussed and compared with those obtained from Si-28 at 3.7 A GeV and S-32 at 200 A GeV.
