Abstract: The objective of the current research to identify the effectiveness of teaching a proposed approach in environmental sciences in the light of the excellence curricula for the development of life skills and achievement of students of the first division of the Faculty of Education, , And the research sample consisted of one group is an experimental group (38) students of the first division Division (basic education science), Students of the experimental group studied the proposed curriculum in environmental sciences in the light of the excellence curriculum, The research tools (life skills test, he achievement test) applied before and after the experiment on the research sample, After collecting and analyzing the data, several results were reached, the most important of which were: 1- There was a statistically significant difference at (0.01) between the average scores of the experimental group students in the tribal and remote applications to test the life skills as a whole and in the secondary skills in favor of the post application. 2- There was a statistically significant difference at (0.01) between the average scores of the experimental group students in the tribal and remote applications to test the achievement as a whole and its sub-levels for the benefit of the post application. 3- There is a correlation between the scores of the experimental group in the life skills test and their scores in the achievement test. 4- The effectiveness of teaching the two units selected from the environmental science course prepared in the light of the curricula of excellence in life skills development among the students of the first class Basic Education Science. 5- The effectiveness of teaching the environmental science curriculum prepared in the light of the excellence curricula in raising the level of collection and understanding of the knowledge, information and facts contained in the units taught by the students of the first year basic education science. - The study included a number of recommendations in the light of the results, and further research and studies were suggested in light of the results .
