Level statistics of ensembles of 2 x 2-matrix Hamiltonians with partially broken time-reversal symmetry

We consider a Gaussian ensemble of two-dimensional random Hermitian matrices in the crossover between orthogonal and unitary symmetry. We obtain a generalization of the Wigner surmise suitable for describing the level spacing distributions of systems with partially broken time-reversal symmetry.
