Abstract:
This article revisited the study of cascaded system but with a fresh perspective. The focus is in (2+1)- dimensional system with kerr laws nonlinearity. The results are obtained by the aid of two interesting algorithms. Thesa are Riccati equation expansion approach as well as unified auxiliary equation approach. These two schemes revealed dromions in (2+1) - dimensions although solitons and dromions are synonymously used in this article. The results for optical dromions in a cascaded system are being reported for the first time. Thus bright, dark and singular soliton solutions are revealed for the model addressed in this article. These results will be of great usage in a variety of optoelectronic devices including optical couplers, magneto-optic waveguides, birefringent fibers and devices with DWDM topology. The results recovered are initially revealed in terms of Jacobi’s elliptic function which yielded soliton solutions after considering the limiting value of the modulus of ellipticity. Such is the way to extract soliton solutions that is being reported for the first time in this article in cascaded system. The results are thus interesting and are very useful in the study of multi-dimensional solitons.
