Abstract:
This article employed a wide range of mathematical schemes to study optical solitons in birefringent Fibers that are governed by coupled LPD equation. These are Jacobis elliptic function expansion method, (G^'⁄G )- expansion scheme, new mapping method, extended auxiliary equation approach and finally the modified kudryashov’s method. All of these elite integration approaches are being applied to birefringent fibers with LPD model for the first time. The soliton solutions that emerged from the schemes are bright, dark and singular types. These solitons are with constraints that are also presented. Additional solutions in terms of periodic functions and plane wave functions, doubly periodic functions also fell out of the schemes. Thus a plethora of the solutions from a variety of angles emerged with these schemes. Later on, additional algorithms are to be implemented to study the model. One is Lie symmetry analysis. Such studies are under way. Therefore, those genuinely inquisitive readers are suggested to hang in tight.
