The present research aimed to identify the nature of causal relationship between attentional control and future anxiety, the nature of causal relationship between future anxiety and cognitive biases, the nature of causal relationship between attentional control and cognitive biases, as well as the nature of causal relationship between attentional control and cognitive biases in light of future anxiety being as a median variable among first grade students of general secondary stage. The sample consisted of (300) male and female first grade students at general secondary stage in Zagazig during second semester 2018/2019. To achieve research goals, the researchers structured the three research scales (future anxiety- attentional control- cognitive biases) and applied them after assuring their validity and reliability. By using the standard and non-standard multiple regression and the path analysis by (AMOS V.25) program, results were: there is a statistically significant causal relationship at (0.01) level of attention concentration dimension on future anxiety, otherwise, there is not a statistically significant causal relationship of attention change dimension on future anxiety, there is a statistically significant causal relationship at (0.01) level of future anxiety on cognitive biases, there is a statistically significant causal relationship at (0.01) level of attentional control dimensions (attention concentration -attention change) on cognitive biases, as well as there is a statistically significant causal relationship at (0.01) level of attentional control dimensions (attention concentration -attention change) on cognitive biases in light of future anxiety being as a median variable among first grade students of general secondary stage. There is a partial role of future anxiety as a median variable in the relationship between attentional control and cognitive biases among first grade students of general secondary stage.
