Abstract:
In this paper we use the wave equation approach to treat an inverse eigenvalue problem of a circular domain in R-2, subject to impedance boundary conditions with monotonic positive function. Some geometric knowledge about the domain is extracted through an asymptotic expansion for the spectral function mu (t)= Sigma (infinity)(k=1) exp{[}-i lambda (1/2)(k)t] for small /t/.
