Abstract:
Complexes of Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with 2-aminofuro{[}3.2-b]pyridine-3-carboxamide have been prepared. The stability constants of the formed complexes were determined at 20,30,40 and 50degreesC at a fixed ionic strength. I = 0.1 mol dm(-3) (KCl). The values of the thermodynamic functions associated with complex formation were calculated and analyzed in terms of electrostatic and non-electrostatic components. The complexes were characterized with the help of chemical and spectral data.
