Abstract:
This study was carried out to evaluate the influence of organic acids supplementation on broilers performance including body weight, weight gain , feed conversion rate, PH values indifferent parts of GIT, total bacterial count in intestinal content, histopathological findings and immunological responses.A total number of 2S0 , a day-old cubb broiler chicks were randomly classified into S groups (A, B, C, D and control), each containing SO chicks. Groups (A and B) chickens were administeredGALLIACID, at dose of 0.6% and 0.12% respectively all over therearing period from 1 day old to 6th week of age. Group C chickenswere administered with A VIACID via drinking water at dose of I.Sml IL.D.W. from l day old to 6th week of age while group Dchickens were administered with A VIA CID at dose of I.S mlIL.D.W. 3 days before and after NDV vaccination. While the Sthgroup remained as control one.The study results were:l-Organic acids administration either in feed or drinking water hadno significant effect on weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion rate.2- Organic acids application in broilers feed or water resulted in nosignificant effect on pH values in different parts of GIT.3- Organic acids administration to broiler chickens resulted IIIsignificant reduction in total gram negative bacterial count.
