Abstract:
Two experiments were carried out at Department of Fish Disease and Management and Fish Research Unit, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt.1-First experiment was carried out to determineThe effect of different levels of aflatoxin B1 concomitant with different antimycotoxins in diet on health, growth and immunity of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).2-Second experiment was carried out to determineThe effect of replacement of dietary protein by soybean and enzymes in diet on health, growth and immunity of Oreochromis niloticus.from these studies we can concludeFirst experiment:1- Fish groups exposed to 0.5mg AFB1/kg diet and control fish groups showed similar survivability rate (96%). Fish exposed to 2mgAFB1/kg diet showed 82% survivability. The addition of antimycotoxins (Bentonite or dried Bacillus subtlis fermentation extrac2- Fish fed on diets contain either 0.5or 2.0 mg AFB1/kg diet showed significant decrease in average body weight, average body gain, body gain percent and significant increase in FCR. While the addition of either Bentonite or Bacillus subtlis fermentation3-Fish fed 0.5 and 2.0mg AFB1 in diet displayed significant lower RBCs count, hemoglobin concentration and PCV%. Additions of bentonite to diets contain 0.5 and 2.0 mg AFB1
