Abstract:
The experimental work was planned to evaluate the effect of overdose of selenium on performance of growing New-Zealand White female rabbits. The study estimated daily feed intake and weight gain and feed efficiency and conversion; some parameters indicatiA total number of forty eight weaned New-Zealand White Female rabbits of 30 days of age were used in this study.Animals were healthy and clinically free of external and internal parasites. Body weight of each animal was recorded twice a week to make sure that the animals being healthy.Blood samples were collected into dry clean centrifuge tubes. Blood serum was separated by centrifugation at 3000 r.p.m. for 20 minutes and kept in a deep freezer at -20 oC until biochemical analysis.
