Abstract:
In this study the immune response of chicken was evaluated after vaccination with different vaccination programs for IBD, IB, AI, and ND with vaccines commonly used in Egypt market by using serological tests and Challenge test.1- Vaccination program against Infectious Bursal Disease: Ninth Broiler farms were evaluated (Tables 1, 5):from (Table 5) it is clear that the ninth programme was prefered programme for vaccination against IBD as the immune response was higher and ranging from (3382, 8432) and GM titers was 5214 ± 134.5 and the protection was 100%.2- Vaccination program against Infectious Bronchitis: three Broiler farms were evaluated (Tables 2, 6):from (table 6) it is clear that the third programme was the best programme against IBV as the immune response was higher and the Elisa titer ranging from (1814, 5014) and GM titers was 3389.8 ± 329.4.3- Vaccination programme against avian influenza (AI): seven farms were evaluated at 4 weeks post vaccination (Table 7, 8, and 9):1. Vaccination program against (AI) in broilers: four farms were evaluated:from (Table7, 8) Fourth programme, The HI antibody titer ranging from (5: 8 log2) and GM titers was 7.09 ± 0.39 and the protection was 70%, was the prefered programme against AI in broilers as the immune response was higher.2. Vaccination program against (AI) in breeders and layers: three farms were evaluated by HI test:from (table 8, 9) two programmes in breeder chickens, the sixth programme was the best one, the HI antibody titer ranging from (1- 8 log2) and (6 - 10 log2) and the GM titers was 3.95 ± 0.42 and 8.25 ± .21 at 4weeks post vaccination and 3weeks post revaccIn Layers the HI antibody titer ranging from (6: 8 log2) and (7: 10 log2) and the GM titers was 6.33 ± 0.17 and 9 ± .25 at 4weeks post vaccination and 3weeks post revaccination respectively and the protection was 80%.4-Vaccination program against Newcastle Disease (ND): Four farms were evaluated by HI test at 35day-old (Tables 4, 10):from (table 10) the First programme was the prefered programme for vaccination against ND as the immune response was higher and the HI titer ranging from (5: 8 log2) and the GMHI titer was 6.38 ± 0.239and the protection was 100%.
