Abstract:
Avian influenza virus (AIV) is highly contagious disease, able to spread in susceptible population in a short period of time; therefore, the prompt identification of infected flock is crucial for control and eradication purposes.The present study was under taken to isolate and identify AIV from domesticated (chickens and ducks) and wild birds. A total of 240samples were collected from chickens and ducks and 412 samples from wild birds.
