Some Studies to Improve Fertility in Buffaloes

The present study was aimed to improve the postpartum reproductive performance of Egyptian buffalo cows. Also to minimize some troubles in their neonates such as pneumonia, enteritis and mortality rate by administration of levamisole hydrochloride, Bacillcows: Each animal was· injected or given two doses ofimmunopotentiators used one week apart, 42 days (6 weeks) prior to expected date of parturition. Group I: Animals were injected subcutaneously with two doses (2mg/kg body weight) of 10% levamisole hydrochloride. Group 11: Animals were injected intradermaly with two doses (0.5 ml) of BCG.
