Molecular Technique Using for Diagnosis of Mycoplasma and Some Bacteria in Mastitic Sheep and Goats

During the last decades, many investigations have been conducted to identify the causative agent and risk factors hypothesized to be associated with the occurrence of bovine clinical and subclinical mastitis in the different parts of the world. However, tTherefore, the aim of this study was to assess the value of using the rapid technique in identification of Mycoplasma and bacteria isolated from mastitic sheep and goats and also to determine its incidence and characteristic features. In addition to see tA total of 204 animals from different localities in Sharkia governorate including (104 sheep and 100 goats) and (182 halves of sheep milk samples and 187 halves of goat milk samples) were investigated for clinical and subclinical mastitis.The results revealed that, from sheep the prevalence rate of clinical mastitis was 25% in animal level and 28.57% in the halves level. Also from goats the prevalence rate of clinical mastitis was 29% in animal level and 32.58% in the halves level.The results revealed that, from sheep the prevalence rate of subclinical mastitis was 43.26% in animal level and 49.45% in the halves level. Also from goats the prevalence rate of subclinical mastitis was 41% in animal level and in the halves level.
