Abstract:
perJringens is an ubiquitous bacterium that present in poultry houses andsurroundings. Often is found in the intestinal tract of healthy birds, but it cancause out break of disease in may species of poultry. It occurs as an acuteclinical disease of necrotic enteritis. And subclinical disease with focal necrosis.Through proliferation in the intestine and production of several exotoxins asalpha, beta, epsilon, iota which serves as an additional virulence factor incausing enteritis in domestic animal. Therefore, the aim of work is to determine the incidence of C. perfringensin broiler chicken and their environment during production and to use the role ofpeR in identification of C. perJringens isolates.A total of 675 collected samples from different farms of broiler chicken. Were included in this study as (318) internal organ, 85 faecal swabs, 65 littersamples, 70 water samples, 67 food samples and 70 wall swabs. fromapparently healthy and diseased broiler chickens incidence of C.perjringens was47%, 13%, Zero% in case of apparently healthy interenal organ (intestine, gizzard, liver) respectively and 84%, 42% and 10% in case of diarrhoeic broilerchickens internal organ and 90%, 65% and 42% at dead broiler chickens. The percentage of isolation of C. perfringens from the environment ofapparently healthy broiler chickens’ farms was 25%, 30%, 42.8%, 280/0 and24.3% from coloacal swabs, drinking water, litter samples, wall swabs and foodsamples respectively.
