Abstract:
A total of 100 water samples (49 samples from main water supply and 51 samples from water of drinkers) were collected from 24 broiler and 25 layer farms located at different districts at Sharkia Governorate during a period from August 2008 to April 2009. I- Chemical examination of water:1. The mean value of PH in main water supplies was 7.32; while in water of drinkers were 7.16. Only, 11.8 % of examined water of drinkers had PH above recommended limits. PH value of both ground and treated surface water are nearly similar. PH in drinkers2.
